THE DEGRADATION OF ART AND THE SECULARIZATION OF ARCHITECTURE
The destruction of local cultures, its Arts and Crafts is part of a lager agenda to eradicate the past by all means including through Art, painting, Cinema, Theatre, Literature, and Architecture.
During the 16th C., Architects, Artists, and Artisans were no longer dependent upon commissions from the Nobility and ‘freelancing’ / ‘consulting’ gained momentum.
This gave the Artistes the freedom to create and produce works independent of assignments and was part of the larger liberation movement away from the Church – the Reformation, and subsequent destruction of the Nobility of Europe through Wars, Financing, and Debt.
